Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time we conversation 5 from the Chinese movie—不见不散 ( bú jiàn bú sàn). Today, we will learn conversation 6 from the Chinese movie—不见不散 ( bú jiàn bú sàn).

 不  见   不  散 ( Be There or Be Square )

lǎo shī gāng lí kāi nǐ men jiù zuò bù zhù le?

老    师    刚  离 开  你   们  就   坐   不   住 了？

(I just left for a second then you could not sit over

there for a monment.)

rú guǒ nǐ men bù rèn zhēn de xué xí hào zhōng wén,

如   果  你  们    不  认     真   的   学 习   好      中      文，

nà me nǐ men jiù bù liǎo jiě wǒ men zǔ xiān chuang

那  么  你   们   就 不  了   解  我    们   祖   先        创

zào de càn làn wén huà.

 造  的   灿   烂    文    化。

(If you don’t learn Chinese very hard, you can not

understand the splendid culture built by our ancestors.)

yě jiù bù néng gòu tǐ huì dào zuò wéi yī gè zhōng guó

也  就 不    能      够 体 会   到    作    为 一 个      中      国

rén yǒu duō me zì háo.

 人   有    多   么  自  豪。

(Then you won’t be able to appreciate the pride of

being a Chinese.)

lǎo shī nǐ shuō de zhè xiē wǒ dōu tīng bù dǒng.

老    师 你    说    的   这  些   我   都    听   不     懂。

(Teacher, I don’t understand what you are talking about.)

tīng bù dǒng jiù gèng yào yòng xīn xué a, gāng kāi shǐ

  听  不    懂    就    更    要     用    心    学 啊,    刚     开   始

xué de shí hòu jiù shì yào sǐ jì yìng bèi de.

 学   的  时   候   就   是  要  死记  硬    背  的。

(If you do not understand you will have to study harder.

You will have to learn by rote at the beginning.)

hǎo, jīn tiān huí jiā de shí hòu bǎ xīn xué dào de shēng cí

  好,  今   天    回  家  的  时   候  把   新   学   到   的      生    词

mò xiě 5 biàn, míng tiān lǎo shī yào jiǎn chá de.

 默  写  5   遍，   明    天   老    师  要     检    查  的。

   找   我？(Looking for me?)

 对  呀, 你  看。(Yes, take a look.)

shuí huì zhǎo wǒ? huì bù huì nòng chóng míng le.

   谁   会    找    我？  会  不   会    弄       重        名   了。

(Who will look for me? Maybe the same name as me.)

xiǎo yuán, xiǎo shū wǒ men yī qǐ zǒu le, gēn lǎo shī shuō

  小     圆，  小     舒  我     们  一 起  走 了，跟   老   师     说

(Li Qing, it’s been a while. I do not know if you are still in L.A.

or even in the States.)

yī nián qián de jīn tiān wǒ zài pà sà dí nà de lǎo chéng

一  年     前   的  今  天    我   在  帕 萨 迪  纳 的  老     城

bǎ nǐ diū le, yī nián hòu de jīn tiān wǒ fēi cháng xiǎng

把 你  丢 了, 一   年    后   的 今   天    我  非     常        想

     装         什   么     蒜    呢？那  么      想    见    我， 刚   一

nián méi jiàn miàn jiù wàng le wǒ le?

   年   没    见     面    就    忘    了  我 了？

(Don’t play dumb. You want to see me so badly, but you

already foget about me. We only haven’t seen each other

for about 1 year.)

éi, nǐ xiā mō shén me ya, xiā mō, xiā mō de,  xiā le nǐ?

 是 李  清，你  还  是  来 了。

bù, wǒ kàn dé jiàn. hēi yè gěi le wǒ hēi sè de yǎn jīng,

不，我  看   得   见。黑  夜   给 了 我   黑  色  的  眼   睛，

wǒ kàn jiàn nǐ wàng zhe wǒ.

 我   看   见   你    望     着   我。

(Yes, I can see. At night in the darkness, I see you looking at me.)

nǐ xiàng bō lí bēi lǐ de bīng kuài yī yàng tòu míng.

你    像    玻璃  杯里 的   冰     块   一   样    透    明。

( You are as transparent as pure cubes of ice in a crystal glass.)
