Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time we have a dialogue about introducing yourself, today, we will talk about brag in Chinese.

chuī niú  / shuō dà huà  /  kuā kǒu

   吹   牛  /    说    大   话  /    夸    口 (brag; boast)

tā xǐ huān shuō dà huà.

他喜    欢      说   大   话。

(He likes to boast.)

bù shì wǒ chuī niú, wǒ men de huā yuán kě néng

不   是  我    吹    牛,  我    们   的  花     园    可    能

shì quán chéng zuì hǎo de.

 是    全        城     最   好  的。

(I am not bragging that our garden is probably the best in town.)

tā kuā kǒu shuō zì jǐ shì quán wēi.

他  夸   口      说   自己 是     权     威.

(He boasts that he is an authority.)

bù shì wǒ chuī niú, wǒ què shí néng jiǎng

不   是  我    吹    牛,   我   确    实    能      讲

liù zhǒng yǔ yán.

六     种     语  言。

(I don't want to boast, but I can actually speak six languages.)

zhè méi yǒu shé me kě kuā kǒu de.

 这    没   有    什   么  可   夸   口   的。

(There is nothing to boast of.)

Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. It’s been a long time. I was asked by our friends from Youtube if I can speak some Chinese dialogue sentences using normal talking speed. So, today, we will have a dialogue about introducing ourselves in a normal talking speed.

A: nǐ hǎo!  wǒ  jiào  bái  xuě.  hěn  gāo  xìng  rèn  shí  nǐ

     你  好！  我    叫    白    雪。 很     高     兴     认    识   你。

     Hello!       I am Bai Xue.       Nice to meet you.

B: nǐ hǎo!  wǒ  jiào  Zhang Xiang. yě hěn  gāo  xìng  rèn  shí  nǐ.

     你  好！  我    叫      张         相。 也  很     高     兴     认    识   你。

     Hello, I am Zhang Xiang.  Nice to meet you too.

A：nǐ zài zhè lǐ gong zuò ma?

      你 在   这 里   工     作   吗？

      Do you work here?

B：bù shì, wǒ zài xié hé yī yuàn gong zuò, jīn tiān dào

       不  是，我  在  协  和 医   院      工     作，今   天   到

      zhè lǐ tīng gè jiǎng zuò. nǐ ne?

        这 里 听   个    讲    座。你 呢？

      No, I am working in Xiehe hospital. I come here for the lecture

        today. How about you?

A：wǒ zài zhè lǐ shàng bān. wǒ jīn tiān yě shì lái

       我   在   这 里   上      班， 我 今   天  也   是  来

       tīng jiǎng zuò de.

         听    讲     座   的。

      I work here. I am here for the lecture too.

B: hǎo de. yǐ hòu duō lián xì, jiāo liú. zài jiàn!

       好  的, 以  后    多    联  系,  交  流.   再  见！

Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time we talked about affair in Chinese. Today, we will talk about Popular internet language in Chinese.

Internet language is popping up very fast and also spread very fast. We have a lesson about Popular Chinese Internet in our lesson 96. Today, we will talk some new internet language in Chinese.

rèn xìng

任     性(capricious; self-willed; wayward; unrestrained; caprice)

yǒu qián jiù shì rèn xìng

  有    钱   就   是  任    性 ( rich and bitch; rich and willful. This means that some rich will do anything they want.  This sentence is used to ridicule some rich people who just do whatever they want to do.)

yě shì zuì le

也  是   醉 了 

(Are you kidding me? Or I am crazy. This sentence is used to describe people’s feeling when they find something is out of their expectation or something is speechless. )

nǐ néng zuò chū zhè yàng de shì qíng, yě shì zuì le.

你   能     做    出   这     样   的   事    情，也   是  醉 了。

(I can not believe that you did this kind of thing.)

zuò wán zhè xiē liàn xí, wǒ yě zuì le, qīn qīn de lǎo shī,

  做   完    这   些   练  习, 我  也   醉了,  亲   亲  的  老   师, 

nǐ yě gòu le.

你 也  够  了。

(Having done the exercises, I become crazy. My dear teacher, I have had enough of you!)

méng méng dā

   萌       萌    哒 (cutie)

huà miàn tài měi bù gǎn kàn

  画     面   太   美   不  敢    看

(That's such a beautiful scene that I dare not have my eyes fixed on it.)

qiě xíng qiě zhēn xī

 且    行    且   珍   惜 (It is to be cherished)

bù zuò sǐ bù huì sǐ

不   作  死 不  会  死 (Not seek death will not die; No zuo no die.)

mán pīn de

  蛮    拼  的 (Pretty strenuous; work very hard)
