1. dōng tiān néng chuān duō shǎo chuān duō shǎo;
冬 天 能 穿 多 少 穿 多 少；
In winter,
wear as much as you can. (as one adj.)
nǐ yào duō shǎo jiù ná duō
shǎo.
Take as much as you need.
2. xià tiān néng chuān duō shǎo chuān duō shǎo.
夏 天 能 穿 多 少 穿 多 少。
In summer, wear
as less as you can. (多is an adv of 少)

yuan yīn yǒu liǎng gè:
剩 女 产 生 的 原 因 有 两 个：
Two reasons for
being the Leftover Women
1. shéi dōu kàn bù shàng;
谁 都 看 不 上；
She doesn’t like anyone.
2. shéi dōu kàn bù shàng.
谁 都 看 不 上。
Nobody likes her.
Note: Leftover women, this has been a much
talked in China in the past few years. It generally refers to single women
above the age of 27.

女 孩 儿 给 男 朋 友 打 电 话：
One girl is
calling to her boyfriend:
1. rú guǒ nǐ dào le, wǒ hái méi yǒu dào,
如 果 你 到 了，我 还 没 有 到，
jiù děng zhe ba;
就 等 着 吧；
2. rú guǒ wǒ dào le, nǐ hái méi yǒu dào,
如 果 我 到 了，你 还 没 有 到，
jiù děng zhe ba!
就 等 着 吧！
