Lesson 31 – Taking a flight in Chinese



Hello, everyone. It is so nice to see you again today. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time, we talked about airport in Chinese. Today, we are going to learn how to take a flight in mandarin Chinese.

Let’s see the text.

qíng chū shì  nǐ  de zhèng jiàn.
            你            件。(Please show your ID.)

guò ān jián
        (go through security)

zhāo dào nǐ de zuò wèi
                (find your seat)

qíng bà suí shēn xíng lǐ fàng zài shàng miàn de xíng lǐ guì  lī.
                                              柜 里。
(Please stow your carry-on baggage in the overhead compartment.)

qíng guān bì shǒu jī.
                 机。(Please turn off your cell phone.)

qíng kòu hǎo nǐ de ān quán dài.
                       带。(Please fasten your seat belt.)

qī  féi                                dài shàng ēr  jī                                                     
  (take off)                         (put on your headphones )    

néng géi wǒ yī gè zhén tóu/tán  zi ma?
                  /      吗?
(May I have a pillow/blanket, please?)

qíng xuān cān.
            餐。(Please choose a meal.)

bà pán zhuō fàng xià lái.
                    来。(Put your tray table down.)

nǐ  yǒu shēn me wù pín yào xiàng hái guān shēn bào de ma?
                                                    吗?
(Do you have anything to declare for customs?)

fēi  jī shàng tí gòng nǎ xiē  yín liào ne?
                        呢?
(What kind of drinks do you have?)

wǒ jué de bù shū fù,    ké yī géi wǒ  yī xiē yào ma?
            服,可              吗?
(I feel a little sick. Can I have some medication?)

néng bāng wǒ huàn gè zuò wèi ma?
                                吗?
(Could you please change a seat for me?)

xià fēi jī
  (get off the plane.)
