Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time, we finished a quiz for our lesson 30 to lesson 46. Today, we will learn Personal Pronoun in Chinese.

Example:  

1.   First personal pronoun  

wǒ shì yī míng yī shēng

 我   是 一   名　医   生。 (I am a doctor.)

zhào piān zhōng zuǒ biān de shì wǒ..

   照　 片　   中　  左　 边   的  是   我 。

(The one in the left of the picture is me.)

wǒ men yīng gāi qù tiào wǔ.

 我   们　 应　该  去  跳    舞。(We should go to dance.)

Bái Xuě gào sù wǒ men shuō jīn tiān yǒu kǎo shì.

白　雪　告   诉  我    们　  说   今   天　有　考　试。

(Bai Xue told us that there will be a test today.)

2.   Second person pronoun

nǐ shì Bái Xuě ma?

你 是   白    雪   吗？(Are you Bai Xue?)

wǒ xī huān nǐ.

 我 喜   欢   你。(I like you.)

nǐ men yào qù tú shū guǎn ma?

你  们　要　去  图  书　 馆　吗 ？

          (Are you going to the library?)

         gěi nǐ men.

          给 你   们。(Give it to you.)

3.   Third person pronoun

tā shì wǒ de gē ge.

他 是   我  的 哥  哥。(He is my brother.)

tā shì wǒ de mèi mei.

她 是   我  的  妹　妹。(She is my little sister.)

tā       men yào qù dòng wù yuán.

他(她)  们 　要   去    动    物　园。

(They want to go to the zoo.)

         gěi tā       men.

          给 他(她)   们。(Give it to them.)

Today’s idiom is “wáng yáng bǔ láo, wéi shí yǐ wǎn. 

                                 (  亡　  羊　补  牢，为　时 已 晚。)”---means “to mend the fold after the sheep have been stolen, it is too late to do so.”
