Lesson 151 – Do you understand the Bus stops in Beijing, China?

Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time we talked about A Chinese tongue twister to practice how to pronounce can, chan, cang and chang. Today, we will talk about a foreigner experience when he was taking a bus in Beijing, in China.

Ok, when you visit China, you might take the bus to go around. So, today, let’s see some bus stops in Beijing of China. You may say, well this is a very easy. Actually, I think it is also very easy, because you know each these words in Chinese. We talked about directions in Chinese in our lesson 24.

Ok, please try your best to understand the following bus stops first.  Today, I will not explain them. I will leave the answer for the next lesson.

běi jīng xī zhàn nán guǎng chǎng dōng
      西              广

ān huì qiáo dōng,                  ān huì qiáo xī,
            东,                           西,

ān huì dōng qiáo dōng,        ān huì dōng qiáo xī,
                  东,                       西,

ān huì xī qiáo dōng,               ān huì xī qiáo xī,
   西         东,                 西      西,

Ok,here is a Bus-stop announcement:

qián mén dào le, qǐng nín cóng hòu mén xià chē.
             了,                          车。

Ok, now please listen to the bus stop announcement and try to catch what she is talking about and write what information you get from the announcement. I will give you the answer in our next lesson too.

Ok, that is all for today.
