Lesson 175 – The difference between jiā rén and rén jia

Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time we had a conversation 3 from bú jiàn bú sàn. Today, we will talk about the difference between jiā rén and rén jia.

jiā rén                                rén jia
    (Family, folk)            (Other people)

tā jū rán rèn shí nǐ de jiā rén, zhēn shi tài qiǎo le.
他居            人,              了。
(What a coincidence that he actually knows your family.)

Liú Yáng zài 13 suì shí suí jiā rén yí mín dào le měi guó.
          13                           国。
(Liu Yang immigrated to USA with his family at 13.)

rén jia néng zuò dào de, wǒ men yě néng zuò dào.
                  ,                     到。
(What other people can do we can do, too.)

wǒ dǎo shì hǎo xīn hǎo yì, kě shì rén jiā bù lǐng qíng.
                   ,                情。
(I was full of good intentions, but they didnn’t appreciate.)

rén jiā dōu zhè me shuō.
                 说。(That's what everybody says.)

Ok, that is all for today.

xiè xiè!
   ! (Thanks!)

xià cì jiàn
