     Lesson 42 – Inside the Refrigerator in Chinese



Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time, we talked about cooking in Chinese. Today, we are going to talk about Inside the Refrigerator in mandarin Chinese.

bīng xiāng                          dòu fu              suān nái
        (refrigerator)         (tofu)          (yogurt)

nái yóu                  dàn gāo                guǒ jiàng
    (cream)          (cake)            (jam)

nái lào                    huáng yóu               guǒ zhī
   (cheese)              (butter)        (juice)

lěng dòng shí píng                        táng jiāng
               (frozen food)          (syrup)

shòu sī                      yī guàn jiè mo jiàng
   寿   (sushi)                    (a jar of mustard)

yǐn liào                           yī guàn fēng mì
    (beverage)                   (a jar of honey)

From now on, I will put one idiom for each lesson.

Today’s idiom is “yī jiàn zhōng qíng (一见钟情)”---means “fall in love at first sight”
