Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time, we talked about dialing a wrong number in Chinese. Today, we are going to talk about answering the telephone in mandarin Chinese.

  

wèi ，nǎ wèi ？

 喂，   哪  位？(Hello, who is speaking?)

wèi，nǐ hǎo, wǒ zhǎo bái xuě.

 喂， 你  好，我　 找　白　雪。

(hi, hello. I want to speak to Bai Xue.)

wǒ jiù shì.

 我  就  是。(This is her.)

nǐ hǎo，bái xuě，wǒ shì lǐ tāo.

你  好，  白　雪，  我  是 李 涛。

wǒ xiǎng wèn nǐ jīn tiān yǒu kòng yì

 我    想　  问  你  今  天　有　 空　一

qǐ  lái xué zhōng wén ma？

起  来  学　  中　   文　吗?

(Hi, Bai Xue. I am Li Tao. I want to ask you if you are available for leaning Chinese with us today?)

hǎo yā, wǒ jīn tiān xià wǔ yǒu kòng.

 好   呀, 我  今   天    下 午   有　 空。

(Yes, I will be available this afternoon.)

hǎo de ，jīn tiān xià wǔ 1 diǎn zhōng

 好   的 ， 今  天　下   午 1  点　　钟

zài wǒ jiā jiàn.

 在  我  家  见。

(Ok, This afternoon 1 o’clock at my apartment.)

hǎo de，dào shí hòu jiàn.

 好   的， 到　时　候　见。

(Ok, see you then.)
