grammar section 1. Today, we will talk about The difference between “fān qié”
and “xī hóng shì”.

long -- drool with envy; bring the water to sb.'s mouth; cannot hide one's
greed; cast a covetous eye at sth. [on ...])
dàn gāo yī qiē kāi,
hái zi men jiù chuí xián sān chǐ le.
蛋 糕 一 切 开, 孩 子 们 就 垂 涎 三 尺 了。
(The children licked
their lips as the cake was cut.)
