Lesson 134 – A Chinese tongue twister- lí hé ní


Hello, everyone. Welcome back. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time we talked about some interesting Chinese sentences. Today, we will talk about a Chinese tongue twister- lí hé ní.

 lí hé ní
(Pear and Mud)

shù shàng yǒu lí,
              梨,(There's a pear on the tree,)

dì shàng yǒu ní,
            泥,(mud on the ground,)

fēng guā lí,
       梨,(the wind blows the pears,)

 lí luò dì,
  地,(the pears fall to the ground,)

 lí gǔn ní,
   泥,(the pears roll in the mud,)

ní zhān lí.
     梨。(the mud sticks to the pears.)
