Hello, everyone. It is so nice to see you again today. This is Baixue’s Chinese Language Learning Program. Last time, we have a quiz for our lesson1-18. Today, I will read them so you can score for yourself.

Ok, are you ready?

1.    nǐ  hǎo wǒ  jiào zhāng  sān,    hěn  gāo xìng  rèn  shí   
  好!              三。 很         你。

(Hello, I am Zhang San.  So nice to meet you.)

2.    bù   hǎo  yì   si wǒ  xiān  gào  cí  le.
     思,                了。
(Excuse me.I gotta go now.)

3.    xiè  xiè   nǐ  de  bāng  zhù .    xià  cì  jiàn 
                  助。        !

4.    nǐ   tài  kè  qi  le.   wǎān
      了。    安!
 (You're quite welcome. Good night.)

5.    wǒ  xí  huāng   nǐ   de  xié  zi.   xiè  xiè
                    子。谢    !
(I like your shoes. Thanks!)

6.    zhēn  bào qiàn ,   wǒ  lái  wǎn  le.
           歉,            了。
(Sorry, I am late.)

7.    méi  guān  xi
        系。(It’s OK.)

8.     hǎo,   zhè  shì wǒ  de  gē  ge.   nà  shì wǒ  de  mèi  mèi.
   好,                哥。                 妹。
(Hi, this is my big brother and that is my little sister.)

9.    qīn  ài  dewǒ  ài  nǐ!
    的。我    你!(Honey, I love you.)

10.  wǒ  yǒu  shí   yī  shuāng xié  zi.
                         子。
(I have eleven pairs of shoes.)

11.  How do you pronounce vowel “er”? Can you put any consonant with it to make a syllable? (No, you can not put any consonant with “er” to make a syllable. “er” itself is a syllable.)

12. How to spell “yu” in mandarin Chinese pinyin? (yü)

13. Try to pronounce “wu, yi, ye, yue, yuan, yin, yun, ying”. How special are they? (They are whole syllables.)
